STEM Week is our week-long summer drop-off program that teaches kids STEM and Robotics! Students will learn how to build and program a robot, as well as learn valuable teamwork and problem-solving skills! It is run by a team of experienced volunteer adult and teen robotics “experts” looking to spread our love for STEM and robotics! We have run STEM Week 3 seasons and we have had great feedback every year! To learn more about who we are, visit our About Us page!

Ages 8-11

Students aged 8-11 will be split into groups of 2 with a computer and a LEGO Spike robot! First, they will get to build their robot (either with or without directions). Then, each day, there will be new programming lessons in Scratch and new challenges to complete. At the end of the week, parents are invited to come, and each group will get to show off what they have learned!

Also, each day students will get to participate in various STEM and team-building activities.

Then, they will learn how to 3D CAD a new, custom piece for their robot that will be 3D printed and help them complete a challenge. Then, each day, there will be new programming lessons in Python so that their robot can compete in a robot game! At the end of the week, parents are invited to come, and each group will get to show off what they have learned!
